MANILA, Philippines - President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. ordered the 60-day suspension of importation of regular milled and well-milled rice starting Sept. 1, 2025, Malacañang announced Saturday.

The President, through Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, issued on Aug. 29 Executive Order (EO) 93 suspending the rice importation.
